The passion for economic empowerment began in 2003 when Patricia was working with a faith-based NGO to develop microenterprise and equip team leaders in fundraising and project writing. More recently as development practitioners recognized Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) as being the backbone of the nation's economy, job creation as the best form of poverty alleviation and market place ministry as an untapped opportunity for deeper discipleship, the vision for Business Impact Growth was born.

MEET THE TEAM
Patricia Claassen
Patricia is the Founder of Business Impact Growth and serves as online small business trainer, coach, and consultant. Her experience executive NGO leadership, Performance Coaching, Business Development and passion for sustainable development are a rich resource to both new and experienced entrepreneurs alike.
Abhishek Kamble
Abhishek is the Director and faculty for Business Studies and Management at Vision Learning Centre and an instructor with BIG. He is the co-designer of Vision Learning Methodology designed to make content highly learnable. He has 8+ years of professional experience in management, facilitating, digital media design, event-management, art, and music.
Roger Hartley
Roger has been based in India for 20 years, involved in a range of sectors including sustainable development projects, international business, tourism, recycling, and consulting. He is well-versed in working cross-culturally with wide-ranging experience in rural and urban settings, formal and informal sectors, highly educated and with the poor and marginalized. He serves the BIG as a business coach.

Michelle Hartley
Michelle draws her experience from 20 years of working cross-culturally in rural development initiatives and in managing logistics & hosting International tour groups. She completed her Coaching Mastery Certification and has worked with clients in America, Africa and the Middle East helping them reflect, grow and reach their potential.
Samuel Parayil
Sam has built a career in project and construction management working with diverse teams and startups in India, Oman, Dubai and Canada. His passion for Community Development has led him to train and coach entrepreneurs in launching sustainable business project. He serves BIG as a mentor/coach.
Ashwini Alkute
Ashwini completed a bachelor's degree in Hospitality management working with brands like Hilton and Taj in their front office team. She enjoys being the front face of a company assisting people in their experience of the services we provide for them. She serves BIG as Program Administrator and in client care.
TENT MAKERS CIRCLE

Two cohorts of Tent Makers Circle in English and in Hindi are currently in progress with a focus on launching small businesses associated with a social cause.
